colorbond slatting + lattice + louvres

Snapshot

One of our longest standing products, our colorbond steel screens are ideal for matching to your roof or other colorbond product in your home. Made from Bluescope's 'colorbond' steel, our slats are roll-formed into 'mini-slats' (28 x 7.5mm), 'maxi-slats' (55x7.5mm) and borders (32x32mm) which we combine to create our slatting and lattice panels. Our lattice screens are available in both square and diagonal orientations, both being quite strong. Colorbond 'mini-orb' can also be incororated seamlessly into these panels, and gives a great 'composite' look.

In addition to slatting and lattice, we also use the roll-formed colorbond slats, combined with aluminium framework to create a range of colorbond steel louvre options.

Technical Information - Colorbond Slatting

mini slat panels

standard gaps between slats are 10mm, 15mm, 22mm, or 32mm
single span of 750mm, continuous span of 1000mm
maximum panel width is 2.5m

maxi slat panels

standard gaps between slats are 5mm, 20mm, or 45mm
single span of 750mm, continuous span of 1000mm
maximum panel width is 2.5m

Technical Information - Colorbond Lattice

Using the 28mm x 7.5mm roll formed colorbond mini slat, we can produce the traditional lattice in the diagonal or square format, both being very strong.

standard slat centres are 60mm (32mm gap) and 75mm (47mm gap)
maximum panel width is 3.6m, but not width and height.

Louvre - Two fixed louvre systems utilize the 55mm x 7.5 colorbond roll-formed maxi slat.

Type B

A 40x20 punched galvanised channel is used for holding the slat at a 60 degree angle.
slat centres are 48mm at 60 degrees, with 2mm overlap
single span of 750mm, continuous span of 1000mm

Type D

Our unique strip and clip louvre system, (patent pending), also utilizes the maxi slat for a fixed louvre that is angled at 0, 45 and 60 degrees. The strip and clip is powder coated aluminium, although these can also be done in zincaneal. Each clip holding 2 slats.
single span of 750mm, continuous span of 1000mm
